Fan Review: I’ve been a fan since the last album, but Pirates is a band reaching it’s pinnacle. Not a bad song worth skipping over. The tracks feature great musicianship, clean male and female soaring vocals, pirate themed lyrics and strong melodies. Melancholy Angel, Legions of the Sea, Clocks and Master the Hurricane are the best songs they have written. The only negative would be that the second half is weaker than the first, but this is a great symphonic metal album.
